This airport is in Keflavik, Iceland - 45 minutes outside the capital city of Reykjavik.  Customs: No surprises here. Stamp in passport book. They may ask where you're staying and for how long.  Things to know about airport:  ARRIVE EARLY! LONG LINES! When departing KEF airport, there are a few passport controls - so make sure you arrive early & fully get to your gate before getting food etc. Icelandair had ridiculously long lines - we were happy to have been flying Delta. COMING SOON Florence, Italy May 2025 Traveling to parts of Italy?  See Sorrento/Amalfi Coast, Naples or Milan  TRANSPORTATION: Public Transport Trains: Florence Main Train Station  (1) We went Sorrento --> Naples --> Florence. We took the commuter train from Sorrento --> Naples & then purchased Trentelia Tickets to go from Naples --> Florence  (2) We took the train from Florence to Milan  We didn't use taxis or other public transport. Instead, we did several day trips coordinateed through tour companies  Highly recommend putting an  Air Tag or Samsung Tracker  in your suitcases/backpacks to ensure your luggage is with you  Note:   To help with jet lag, highly recommend downloading  Time Shifter App. With a mix of coffee & melatonin (optional), you'll be guided a week in advance on how to prevent jet lag HOTEL: Florence is quite small.
