VY Train App: download this app to use for trains/Metrorail. Must use PayPal - does not accept international credit cards. Flight: Flew into Oslo airport from Helsinki. Large airport that can be difficult to navigate if departing. The airport is about 45 min - 1hour away from city center so have to take a train into the city (or pay an expensive uber); do not take the flytoget train as it is more expensive. Bergen Airport was smaller and much easier to navigate. Our Metrorail ride took about 45 minutes from city center but dropped off right in front of the airport and security was a breeze. Taxi/...

Security didn't take long to get through, but checking in bags took a while (every airline that was flying out had a backed up line). Make sure and get there at least 1.5-2 hours early just to be safe. Be sure to pay for a check-in luggage beforehand (it's cheaper!) - & they're very strict at dimensions/weight of hand luggage.  Ferry Boat: We took the speedboat from Mykonos from Santorini There was assigned seating on this ferry. This airport is in Keflavik, Iceland - 45 minutes outside the capital city of Reykjavik.  Customs: No surprises here. Stamp in passport book. They may ask where you're staying and for how long.  Things to know about airport:  ARRIVE EARLY! LONG LINES! When departing KEF airport, there are a few passport controls - so make sure you arrive early & fully get to your gate before getting food etc. Icelandair had ridiculously long lines - we were happy to have been flying Delta.
